A recent visit to Kuitpo Forest Reserve near Adelaide, South Australia. Not my best focusing, but I like the feel of these images, and the landscape reminds me vaguely of a Hans Heysen painting. Taken with a Sigma 28-70mm f/2.8 EX Aspherical DF lens.

I’ve been inspired by some of the regulars on Flickr, and thought I’d do a mock-up of a little tea-party… with macarons.
Tea Party – with guests?
Sign of things to come? A little boy, boogie-board in hand, looks out longingly over the surf.
I absolutely love my mum – thanks to her hard work when she visited, we got to reap this harvest of beetroots today!
Shine – Brighton Jetty
Brighton Jetty, just after sunset on a cloudy evening. Went hoping to try out my new Cokin ND Grad Light filter, but the sky and sea looked almost the same. Took this shot instead, without the filter, with a tripod, and with the self-timer on to eliminate camera shake.
Or, as better known, Seaside Daisy. A little exercise in macro.
A visit to Granite Island, off Victor Harbor, South Australia. The sun was getting lower in the horizon, great light!
Among other things we saw a funny-faced Norfolk Island Pine.
Robe, South Australia – wild and beautiful.
These toys hanging from a carnival stall at the Royal Adelaide Show stole my heart.
